# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Naturally vibrant green color from fresh avocado makes them Instagram-worthy and conversation-starting
  • Ready in under 30 minutes from start to finish
  • Packed with protein and healthy fats for a satisfying, nutritious appetizer
  • Vegetarian and gluten-free, accommodating many dietary preferences
  • The creamy avocado filling is lighter and more flavorful than traditional mayonnaise-heavy versions
  • Perfect for meal prep—can be made ahead and refrigerated until serving
02 -
  • Choose an avocado that yields slightly to gentle pressure—too firm and it won't mash smoothly, too soft and it may be brown inside
  • Add the lemon juice immediately after cutting the avocado to preserve the bright green color
  • For the smoothest filling, press the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve after mashing
  • Chill the filled eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld
  • If making ahead, wait to add the garnish until just before serving for the freshest appearance
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days
